Dear Brothers and Sisters In Christ:

“Grace and Peace to you from God the Father of our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

Introduction

For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Now what you worship as something unknown I am going to proclaim to you. (Acts 17:23)

Here’s a prayer for our EE Ministry: “Holy Father, protect us by the power of your name as we go out in a world that we are not part of proclaiming a God that they are not familiar with.”

Proclaiming God for who He is

One of the questions we ask when sharing the gospel is: Suppose you were to die today and stood before God and He were to ask you, “Why should I let you into my heaven?” What would you say?

Here are some of the answers we received during our last session:

1.    I am a good person

2.    I am your child and help people

3.    I died trying

4.    I lived right

5.    I don’t know

6.    I served God and tried to do my best

7.    I have different churches come to me

8.    Please forgive me for all my sins

9.    I’ve been in church

10.  He suffered for my sins

Warning: Contrary to popular belief, none of these answers are right. You may think #8, #9 and #10 will do it. However, when you search the Word, you’ll realize that these answers will be too late (See Hebrews 9:27). We are not going to be judged by human standards but by God’s standard.

Unknown God made known

Now is the time for salvation (See 2 Corinthians 6:2). Remember the ARK (Noah and the Ark). Only 8 were saved from that devastating, unexpected flood: Today many are being saved.  Please be one of them:

·         Ask God for forgiveness

·         Repent (turn away) from your sins

·         Keep your eyes on the Lord Jesus Christ and put your full trust in Him (Romans 10:9)

.

Afterward, Jesus will take away all of your sins. Then you can stand before a holy God blameless.

Remember that no one can come to the Father (God) except through the Son (Jesus). [See John 14:6]. Now the unknown God has been made known to you!

Please let us know of your decision so we can give you more information; email me at first.c@sbcglobal.net.

Summary

Please pray that our church will develop an evangelistic zeal. Join us in making the unknown God known. Continue to pray for our Pastor as he diligently trains and encourages God’s people to win souls for Christ!

Yours in Christ,
